Laneway Festival is proud to support TERRAIN at Wominjeka
From 15 to 17 January, Wominjeka Festival returns to Footscray Community Arts Centre, presenting a rich and diverse program of art, music, performance and activities that deeply reflects Indigenous culture in Melbourne’s west and Australia.
With over 15 events, festival highlights include TERRAIN, Wominjeka’s music program that presents a spark of experimental and dynamic Indigenous music – presented in partnership by Laneway Festival, Maribyrnong City Council and FCAC.
Wominjeka will feature exhibitions, and performances, to workshops, forums and films, this year’s guests include Arweet Carolyn Briggs, Uncle Larry Walsh, Briggs, Pigram Brothers, Kimberley Moulton, Bart Willoughby, Ian Michaels, Carly Sheppard and more!
While this is separate to the work we do with the Yiriman Project, we are really excited to see an event like this get off the ground and we're very proud to be involved as a presenting partner.
